IDEOS X5 – A Review

Having now purchased the ideos x5 and had it for a few days I feel that a review is in order.

Android: A New Toy

Just a quick update for all off you.I’ve just bought the IDEOS x5 (only days after it’s australian launch.) Infact I am using it right now.

On a fun note swype is a really good input method and I am starting to quite like it.

I will give a full blog post latter on my now unloved computer.

VLC Media Player: The One

VLC Media Player is a free and open source media player capable of opening movies and music in all but the most obtuse formats.

With nearly every codec under the sun (and some that live in darkness) VLC can be said to truly occupy the pinnacle of media players.

HTC Wildfire: A Review

The HTC Wildfire is a full feature phone for very little money. Available in Australia as a Testra exclusive, until November 15, the Wildfire is one of their flagship prepaid phones at $469.00 outright or for $0 upfront on a variety of prepaid plans. (see here)

The Wildfire runs Android 2.1 (Eclair) and comes with all of the features HTC packed into the Desire.
